Approved bio for immediate release

Known for its vibrant performances around Brooklyn, the band combines elements of traditional jazz with a modern twist. Frequently compared to New Orleans street music, as well as bluesy, old masters, it also draws from global sounds of Latin America and The Middle East. Sweet Tooth is set to release its debut album, This Record Won’t Play Itself, this summer, a collection of classic jazz standards and whimsical originals. The band features Ryan Weisheit on vocals and saxophones, Marcus Milius on vocals and harmonica, Abe Pollack on vocals and bass, Uri Zelig on drums, and Brad Brose on guitar.

Highlights

Band members have been featured on Apple TV, The Super Bowl, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. The band has headlined at the Heights Of The Era festival in Davenport, Iowa and have made appearances in Baltimore, Md., Spring Green, Wis, Normal, Ill, and all around the New York Tri-State area. Band members have performed with Beck, Pokey LaFarge, The Nighthawks, and Stephane Wrembel. In 2024, the band was honored to present a concert of original music at the 20th Annual Bix Biederbecke Memorial Jazz Concert, held at his final place of residence in Sunnyside, Queens.
